The best article on shooting with Panasonic HVX-200

13 12 2006

Best because the article by Dan Brockett doesn’t just give you a tech overview, but he makes HVX-200 a character in a big project (in this case a network TV pilot). The difference between this piece and other articles is simple, Brockett has meticulously calculated and documented every aspect of the camera’s involvement in the project. This is a must read for any producer/director/DP out there planning an HD shoot, but need a little more assurance and information. The presentation is clear, engaging, and informational. Even if you want nothing to do with HD, HVX, or TV….read it.
